Postdoctoral Associates
We are seeking several postdoctoral researchers to join our lab and establish a research program focused on designing integrated circuits and high-speed imaging technologies, and applying these technologies to address neuroscience and biomedical research questions.
The candidate should hold a Ph.D. in a related field (e.g., biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, neuroscience, or a similar field). We are looking for candidates with one or a few of the following experiences:
Engineering:
Analog & mixed-signal integrated circuits
Pixels characterization and image sensor design
System level hardware & firmware integration
Optical imaging
Systems neuroscience:
In vivo imaging & electrophysiology
Animal behavior paradigms
Neural signal processing
Ability to link technology development with neuroscience questions.

Prospective PhD, MS, BS Students
We are looking for students at all levels (PhD, MS, BS) interested in neural engineering and systems neuroscience. Students will have the opportunity to contribute to both the development of cutting-edge hardware (e.g., image sensors, miniature microscopes, and neural interfaces) and its application in neuroscience experiments that investigate learning, memory, and neural circuit dynamics.
Candidates should have a strong academic background in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, neuroscience, physics, or a related discipline. Prior research experience in any of the following areas is beneficial but not required: circuit design, optics, imaging, computational neuroscience, or in vivo experiments. More important is a demonstrated interest in bridging engineering and neuroscience, enthusiasm for learning new skills, and readiness to work in an interdisciplinary environment.
Students in the lab receive close mentorship and broad training in integrated circuit design, optical imaging, in vivo systems neuroscience, and neural data analysis, preparing them for diverse careers in academia, industry, and beyond.
